Freddy’s Jalapeño Pepper Jack Double Video Review
Freddy’s is one of those places that does the classic American burger exceptionally well. Their smash burgers are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. That being said, I take every opportunity I can to review one of their classic burger creations.
It should also be stated that I’m honestly not that much of a spicy foods guy. Sure I love the flavor of milder peppers just like the next guy (jalapenos, chilies), but I end up crying like a little baby the moment the Scoville gets way to high.
So now that brings us to what we’re actually here for today! A spicy burger from Freddy’s, the Jalapeno Pepper Jack Double. Lets see if I can handle the heat! (Video below)
If there is one thing I can proudly say about this burger, is that it definitely deserves its spicy “Jalapeno” nameplate. Not only are the Jalapenos nice and plentiful here, but that spicy sauce and pepper-jack cheese also help make everything nice and spicy. Its not the hottest thing in the world though, so if your a light-weight like myself, you should still be able to handle it. Just make sure to get something to drink.
Overall, this is just a great spicy variation of the Freddy’s classic double burger. The flavors of the meat and peppers are perfectly balanced. The beef patties are crispy on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside. I love that they use several different ways to deliver the spice (sauce, jalapenos and pepper-jack). This means that every bite has some pepper flavor to it. Spicy burger lovers take note. I will definitely be getting this one again.
