Hardee’s Frisco Angus Burger Review
I love me some sourdough bread! Combine that bread with some great charbroiled beef and a double layer of cheese and I think you may have won me over for life. That essentially is what Hardee’s Frisco Angus burger has done, and then-some, in spades!
First off, this burger had everything I wanted and that was just judging just the looks of it and the ingredients alone.
Ingredients List:
• A 1/3 lb. charbroiled 100% black angus beef patty
• 2 (maybe three) slices of crispy bacon
• 2 layers of melted Swiss cheese
• A slice of tomato
• Mayo
• A toasted sourdough bun
Then Hardee’s worked their magic with these ingredients and made me a burger of a lifetime. I don’t usually gush over a burger this much, but I do think Hardee’s Frisco Angus Burger is worth the praise here.
Firstly, the flavor of the burger patty was nothing short of perfect. It had a nice char flavor to it, just like it was off a charcoal grill. Hardee’s doesn’t get enough praise for their patties and I think they’re some of the best in the biz.
Secondly the bacon here was fantastic. Proportionately, the amount of bacon here was perfect. An ample amount that was falling out of the burger! It was a huge part of the flavor profile and I think bacon lovers would rejoice here.
Thirdly, the cheese, WOW! Two layers of cheese here, above and underneath the burger. It really makes this a heavenly cheese-draped experience and I loved it through and through.
Lastly, but not leastly, is the tomato, bun and mayo. All of these flavors worked well here too. I hate to say the bun took a backseat, but the meat and cheese kind of is on center stage here. This is not to say that the sourdough is not good or present in the flavor profile, I just think it has a more supporting role in this burger. The tomato here adds a nice little twist to the flavors that I really appreciated and is a fairly large part of why I love this burger. It makes the entire thing taste a bit more fresh and juicy. The mayo also kicks the tangy flavors up a notch, which also helps perfect flavor all around.

All in all, I loved this burger. I wish Hardee’s was closer so I could experience it more frequently because its just one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. The bacon and char-broiled burger flavors are perfect and the supporting cast of two layers of cheese, sourdough, tomato and mayo wrap it up into something truly special. I think this is one of the best burgers you can buy right now and I would highly recommend it!
