Ben & Jerry’s Strawberry Cheesecake Review
Hey everyone! Welcome to yet another ice cream review from yours truly! I decided to take a break from the Halo Top today and instead indulge a bit with a flavor from Ben & Jerry’s! Strawberry Cheesecake to be exact.
Now I personally love cheesecake. Strawberry cheesecake especially. When I saw that Ben & Jerry’s offered this flavor, it stuck out to me and I knew I had to give it a try! I mean, I was already drooling at that point, so why not? Here is what I experienced!
First Thoughts
Now I don’t want to embellish here. I just wanna be completely honest, so I will. The first bite of this almost made me squeal. My taste buds where dancing with ecstasy. I thought, WOW! That’s some real cheesecake flavor! It was really a wonderful and intense experience.
To zero in on the flavor, it tastes like they just froze a cheesecake and blended in some super fresh strawberries, but that description isn’t really doing it justice. This most definitely is an ice cream first and foremost and super creamy one at that, but the strawberry cheesecake flavor is undeniable and very strong here throughout.
The mixture itself is pretty amazing as well. The graham cracker crust is blended into the mixture perfectly. It gives the ice cream an amazing texture too. You can actually see those pieces of crust in the photo. (See the little brown flakes) The strawberries here are also quite ample and they taste amazing. To put it very simply, portions are perfectly balanced here throughout.
Final Thoughts
This quite simply is an amazing experience from start to finish. My eyes literally lit up from the first bite and I was all smiles throughout the pint. This is so good, I feel like I could die afterwards and be just fine. It’s really that good.
If its not totally evident yet, this might be my new favorite flavor! Its most definitely the best flavor of this year for me! Try it out! All you cheesecake lovers should love it! I swear!
